Verdict Reached in R. Kelly Trial

The jury has returned a verdict in the R. Kelly trial after a weeks long trial that has resulted in the exposing the dark side of the singer’s life. With many conflicting stories and accounts it was sure to be a difficult process for the jury members to reach their verdict which has been announced.

The jury had to spend the night sequestered in hotel while deliberating. One juror even has to be excused due to extreme family situations however the judge after review and at the request of the attorneys denied his request. Just shows why people try to so often get out of jury duty.

Many are waiting for the verdict in the R. Kelly trial and wonder how this will effect the singer’s future. Many news stations are waiting to break in and make the annoucement as soon as the verdict is read regarding R. Kelly’s fate.
