Top Chef Finale |Top Chef Winner | Who Won Top Chef Chicago?

Today we find out who the Top Chef winner is on the Top Chef Finale! With the finale set in Puerto Rico it brought an interesting mix of food and flavor to this final episode. It has been a fiery season on Top Chef season 4, the personalities have certainly been an intereseting mix. although I’m still disappointed that Lisa made it to the final three. I can’t imagine that in any way she would be the Top Chef winner this round and I’m rooting for Stephanie as her consistency has impressed me throughout the season Quick turn on the Top Chef Finale. Shh….don’t tell any Top Chef spoilers yet.

Update: And yes, we have a winner! Great Job Stephanie Izard!

If you are like me you have been interested in cooking if you like to watch Top Chef. One of my dreams one day is to find one of the great culinary schools to attend. Making and eating great food is one of the best things in life that a person can have and do. I don’t think I live in an area where there are a lot of great culinary schools but I’ll have to take a look around, this recent season of Top Chef Chicago has inspired me.

I think the culinary arts is a fascinating area, there is so much to learn and you can really pick and choose from so many specialites in the culinary arts. I find it interesting when people go into a culinary school with one speciality on their mind and end up switching to another because they fell in love with a different area of cooking. For me this season would have been a bit more interesting if they had focused on the backgrounds of the participants and the eventual Top Chef winner. They put a short description at the bottom of the screen but it would be nice to know what restaurants Stephanie and Richard have worked at and more details about their culinary school background. Sorry I don’t care much for Lisa so I don’t want to know what culinary school she went to.

My suggestion for next season of Top Chef would also to include some more background information on the judges. We have come to enjoy the interactions with Tom Colicchio, Padma Lakshmi, Ted Allen, and Gail Simmons over the past few seasons of Top Chef and have watched them crown each Top Chef winner. Knowing perhaps their culinary school background would add more flavor to the show.

Well it will be great to know who won Top Chef tonight on the Top Chef Finale, I’m hoping I can stay up that late and can then go to bed dreaming about being the next Top Chef winner after attending the best culinary school I can find. Update: We know, we know, congratulations Stephanie Izard!
