The Hillsborough County, Florida teacher has been accused of having sexual relationships with two underage boys. She was arrested in March and then went on to be arrested twice in April for her contact with one of the boys. Ragusa has presented an interesting demeanour in her court appearances even to the point of flashing smiles which seem very inappropriate.
I wrote the other day about Christine Jouini and I’m still trying to understand what makes these teachers think this is okay. Do they think that because they are women everyone will just write it off and think how “lucky” the boys are to have an older woman in their life? Everyone knows that if the roles were reversed there would be quite the cries of outrage if a twenty something male teacher was preying on young stundents the way these women have done.
Although there was nothing untoward in the letter Stephanie Ragusa sent to Nick Hogan, although it did take some time to reach him as it was intercepted by authorities, it still seems like it is in extremely bad taste for her to have done something like this considering that Nick Hogan is a minor sitting in jail, or is it prison, for his horrific crime which I won’t even get into right now. Someone needs to put the lockdown on Stephanie Ragusa and let her know that she is no longer allowed to contact anyone under the age of eighteen.
