Picsmovedaround.com is a device someone is using to get your email address and to send you lots of garbage email and who knows what else. I know a lot of people with myspace pages were targeted but according to my research there is no way they were getting and uploading your pictures for ratings. Think about it, it says that pictures from your IP address were uploaded. Well if you didn’t do it who did? I know in my case I am the only one ever on my computer so right away I can see it for the scam it is. I’m pretty disgusted with whoever put picsmovedaround together and wish they could be punished for this in some deep dark appropriate internet way!

Sometimes when I think about all the scams I’ve seen on the internet over the time I have been online I get rather irritated. I’ve been online since the days when aol cost something crazy like 3.95 per hour! You can only imagine the bills I racked up while chatting online. I don’t go back to the days before that, aol was my first experience with the internet. I remember I was so obsessed I would say up all night chatting and stumble to bed in the wee hours of the morning. Hmm..8 hours online times four dollars an hour, well that was one way to spend 32 bucks! I still have the sound in my head, that boingdaboing sound that the internet made when connecting. I was so excited when I got a 2400 connection, that meant I could see things so much faster!

Yikes, well I am rambling, I just thought back to my first online days and remember a time when we didn’t have all the social networking sites like myspace, facebook, and about a thousand others. It is amazing how people try to target others online today and how easily sometimes we can handout our information. You do know that you should have more than one email address right?
