A crane has collapsed during work on the Dallas Cowboys stadium resulting in the injury to several construction workers. The Dallas Cowboys are building a new stadium and the crane that collapsed was being lifted off the ground when a cable snapped.

Unfortunately, one worked was hit be the cable and had to be airlifted to the local hospital in Dallas. Three workers in all were transported to the hospital.

Work is concluding on the retractable roof stadium in anticipation of the 2009 football season and will also be the home of th 2011 Super Bowl. When it is completed it will the be world’s largest column free room.

I’ll update more as the news progresses regarding the crane collapse at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
