I’m just interested in Florida trips and want to be able to get into the sunshine and be around some warm weather for a change of pace. I’m about ready to go stir crazy with all the rain we have been having the past couple of weeks. I have friends that have had to replant their seedlings several times over because the weather has been so bad and their poor little plants are rotting in the wet soil.
I went to FL several years ago and as soon as I stepped off the plane I knew that the Florida trips was going to be a great one. I even loved the mugginess of the air in the airport. It was such a change of scenery from where I live. Of course, the state I’m from is also famous for another school teacher that couldn’t seem to control herself when it came to her student, Mary Kay Letourneau. What a fiasco that was. Of course now she is married to the student she molested and is raising a second family. Makes me wonder what happens with these other female teachers that are accused of similar things. I hope that Christine Jouini doesn’t follow the same path and that she gets much needed help and comes to realize that her actions were completely inappropriate.
In the meantime, I guess I won’t write off my holiday Florida and will start researching some Florida packages for the upcoming season. Can I order up a special that includes sun, beach, warm breezes and many yummy drinks please?
