In a strange event, Martha Stewart has been banned from Britain due to her 2004 conviction for obstructing justice. The Brits don’t want Martha! Martha Stewart had been planning a business trip with stops in Britain but received word that she was denied a visa and without it she would be unable to enter the country.

Of course Martha is well known in the US and you can’t pass by a news stand without seeing the Martha Stewert Living Magazine on display. Martha received the news while she was in Poland where she is promoting the Martha Stewart Living Magazine that recently was launched in Polish. Martha also was presenting an exhibition of photgraphs that she took herself. Martha told the Polish people that she was very proud of her heritage and talked about the close relationship her family and their Polish-American roots.

The conviction that is leading to Martha Stewart being banned from Britain is the one that she spent 5 months in prison for when she made false statements about the sale of ImClone stock. Apparently the uppity ups in Britain have decided that Martha Stewart is “not conducive to the public good” and must be banned from entering Britain. Let’s hope that this doesn’t effect Martha Stewart stock and that she can continue promoting her Martha Stewart Living Magazine in Britain soon.
